Helen Ansell Art is joining hands with Lifenet Children’s Foundation to support the vital work of the House of Joshua, a safe haven and community center providing life-changing care and opportunities to vulnerable children and families in the Philippines.

House of Joshua has had a place in my heart and over the years I have sponsored children and seen the remarkable work that Mary and her team do. This year I felt called to do more to support their amazing work.

Founded in 2007, Lifenet is a little charity that has transformed many lives through outreach to street children, residential care, and community-based programs aimed at empowering children and youth.

I am so excited to support essential projects that will enhance the lives of those in Lifenet’s care.I hope you will too.

A Gathering Place for Growth and Community

At the heart of the House of Joshua is the “Sala” — a large living room that serves as a central space for family activities, youth leadership programs, and community outreach. This room brings together children, mothers, and young leaders for moments of connection, education, and support. Years of use and a changing climate have taken their toll on this important space.

Helen Ansell Art has already donated a sum to ensure that the repair work for durable non-slip tiling for the Sala can go ahead. But there is so much we can do to help.

We Need Your Help

At Lifenet Children’s, we believe every child deserves the chance to flourish—no matter their circumstances. We serve local kids facing challenges like poverty, unemployment, and the aftermath of natural disasters, offering them a nurturing environment and vital support to help them succeed.

A full list of items and programs your sponsorship pays for is included below. You will receive a beautiful photo and information about the child your donation is helping.

By sponsoring a child in either our Elementary or High School program, you’ll help cover essential educational costs, extracurricular activities, and community-building events. These initiatives range from reading programs and summer youth camps to nutrition seminars and family days—holistic activities that nourish both mind and spirit. We welcome new sponsors year-round, with each academic cycle running from June to April. Your partnership will bring hope to children who need it most, enabling them to thrive academically and personally—and in turn, uplift the entire community.

How Your Contribution Creates Change

Thanks to your help we have managed to raise funds to help cover crucial projects at the House of Joshua, including:

– Repairing the roof and screens to prevent leaks and protect residents from mosquitoes.

– Restoring the exterior fence wall and repainting areas to enhance security and comfort.

– Providing vital supplies for the children and families that Lifenet supports.
