Magpies of Melbourne is filled with some of my favourite Australian natives. Bold black and white magpies sit amongst banksias, wattle, gum blossoms and flowering natives against a rich blue sky.
I wanted this piece to feel joyful, bright and unmistakably Australian. The magpies almost feel like they are singing to each other amongst the branches and blooms.
