Description
Numbats (Myrmecobius fasciatusare) are a very rare and endangered Australian Marsupial (even though they don’t have a pouch they are still considered to be marsupials!)
They were once widespread across South Western Australia but now can only be found in a few small patches – including the Dryanda Woodlands. The flowers I have chosen to include are all found in this area including the Cowslip Orchid, White Spider Orchid, Sun Orchid, Conesticks and “Dryandra” (now Banksia) stuposa.
