The Wedge Tail Eagle (Aquila audax) is the largest bird of prey in Australia with a wing span of over 9ft and a spectacular sight to see!
My hometown of Mullewa had a nine month drought last year followed by record seasonal rain and I painted this piece as a symbol of hope and resilience – streams of water and wildflowers blooming in the desert.
