Wattle Bird Among the Eucalyptus Synandra – Rectangle Canvas Print
$250.00 – $1,180.00
I was immediately attracted to the unique shape of these amazing Eucalypts and just knew I had to paint them. I love the different colours they come in, soft shades of pink and red.
The Western Wattlebird (Anthochaera lunulata) from the honeyeater family is endemic to South-Western Australia. It occurs toward the coast from Israelite Bay, North to Geraldton and inland to the Stirling Range, Lake Grace and Northam. Eucalyptus synandra, commonly known as Jingymia Mallee, is found as several small populations on sandplains and rises between Geraldton and Mount Marshall in the Eastern Wheatbelt. 27 separate populations have been identified, containing 1200 individual plants; mostly between north of Morawa to around Koorda. It is classified as ‘Threatened Flora’.
