AUWA Wildflowers
We loved the wildflowers in WA this year. A highlight was visiting Helen’s pop up gallery in Mullewa (3 times) She was so friendly and engaging. We loved all her art and it was very hard to choose one picture. We bought a large print which we ordered online when we returned home- rather nervously. However it was well packaged and the museum standard printing quality was evident. We have just had it professionally framed in a floating frame where it brings back fond memories of both our holiday and the wonderful Helen Ansell.

Helen Ansell now lives where most years it appears as if in spring the Desert does Bloom. Large numbers of people come from all around Australia, and from all over the world to witness this colourful profusion of nature. Just up the road, near Pindar, there is a dirt track that throngs with crows taking in the exceptional beauty of Wreath Flowers (Leschenaultia macrantha). And many years there is double treat as the outback bush, either side of the road, comes alive with an abundance of wildflowers.
